Voices Anointed is a group of like-minded spiritual warriors dedicated solely to the cause of ministry through song. Our mission is simple: to reach the masses and win souls for Christ! We are committed to using music as a vehicle to usher believers, young and “young at heart,” into the presence of God.
Voices Anointed was born in November 2006 of a vision shared by Rev. G. L. Edmond and Marc Archibald, the Pastor and Minister of Music, respectively, of St. Paul AME Church in Raleigh, North Carolina. Both visionaries believed that God was calling the “voices” to a greater mission in Him. Since that time, Voices Anointed has traveled the local region spreading the good news of Jesus Christ and inviting as many as are sure to join a great body of believers.
Our musical personality is extensive; we worship using both traditional and contemporary sounds. We are attracted to the newness of contemporary gospel music, but we continue to celebrate the musical foundation of the church. We invite you to worship with us at St. Paul AME Church on 2nd Sundays at the 8:00 am worship service and on 5th Sundays at the 11:00 am worship service.
